 Practice modul New: The "practice modul" allows for accounting expirience such as internships or qualified volunteering work in the field of disaster risk management with ETCS. The duration of study will be reduced accordingly (up to 9 months).

 Further education for professionals, part time / blended learning
Concept of learning and teaching
 "blended learning" - a combination of lectures during weekends and following study periods at home
  • university degree with a duration of at least 6 semesters
  • at least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge in the field of disaster prevention and governance
Language Teaching language is German; literature is partially in English

In the winter semester (October)
Period of application
The deadline for applications is July 15th.
Lectures are held at the Federal Academy of Civil Protection and Civil Defence (BABZ) in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler
 Costs 10.500 €, in addition expenses for travelling to the venue (BABZ), food and accomodation, as well as 100 € per semester payable to the student union
